Christ the King Lutheran Preschool has served families in the Cody community since 1989, providing a nurturing Christian environment where young children can grow, learn, and explore the world around them.

Our preschool program introduces children to learning through play, discovery, and Christian teaching, helping them grow spiritually, socially, emotionally, and intellectually.

A Nurturing Christian Environment
We believe every child is a gift from God, created with unique abilities and potential. Our preschool provides a safe and caring environment where children learn:

Through Bible stories, songs, prayer, and daily interactions, children begin to understand God’s love for them and for the world.
Preparing Children for Kindergarten
With strong foundations in place, children are prepared to grow in both knowledge and confidence. Our preschool program prepares children for the transition into elementary school by developing fundamental skills in:
  • language and vocabulary
  • early reading readiness
  • counting and basic math concepts
  • fine and gross motor skills
  • listening and classroom routines
Children also develop important social skills such as cooperation, problem solving, and working with others.
Learning Through Play & Exploration
Young children learn best through hands-on activities and meaningful play. Our classrooms provide opportunities for:

  • music and movement
  • art and crafts

Part of Christ the King Lutheran School

Christ the King Lutheran Preschool is part of the ministry of Christ the King Lutheran Church and now serves as the foundation of Christ the King Lutheran School.

Beginning in Fall 2026, our ministry is expanding to include Kindergarten through 2nd Grade, allowing families to continue their child’s education in the same Christ-centered environment.
