What Is Classical Education?
Classical education is a time-tested approach to learning that teaches students how to think clearly, communicate well, and pursue truth with wisdom. At Christ the King Lutheran School, this tradition is combined with a Christ-centered foundation so that students grow in both knowledge and character.
In the early grades, students build strong academic foundations in reading, phonics, handwriting, and arithmetic, while also being introduced to literature, history, science, art, and music. This approach helps students develop curiosity, discipline, and a lifelong love of learning.
